If I were to dissapear without telling anyone for lets say 2 months or so, are there any legal reprucussions? I don't plan on it, but I have an idea to round up about 20 or so people on the same day (I would pay them to do this), and have them all leave with me without telling anyone and go to a location where we would just camp out for two months just to see what kind of reaction it would bring about. Like I said, Im not going to do this, Im just saying, i had an idea.

  1. yes, I ran away for 5 weeks. The police threatened to move me away from my home, and put me in foster until I turn 18.

you are also written down as a missing person, and you can be thrown in jail if the cops find you.

luckily, my mom found me, and I was brought back to her house.

however, its stupid. And to be honest, i thought I had a good reason to do so at the time, but now that i think about it, its not worth it.

I was sleeping on the streets, hard to get food, cause eventually you run out of money. hard to take showers, luckily I went to my friend's house to take them.

But, if you stay at a friend's house while your missing, your friend can be responsible for housekeeping a runaway.

Just think about it, but its your decision.

  2. it depends ... if you or any of your friends were using the disappearance for fraud or avoiding paying things they are legally obliged to do, then you could get into trouble
