  1. He is right about the first amendment, but you also must follow the rule of thou shall not self incriminate. If you give up your self Rights , you are open game to the rule of law .

  2. ok considering i doubt cops would put a lot of time and effort into trying to catch one kid with drugs, unless they hold a personal grudge or something.  A lot kids put out stuff on the web about parties, but they usually do not get busted.

  3. No, not at all. Don't do it anyway. Believe it or not cops roll around with names of a bunch of kids in your local town. Once you make yourself hot, they will get to know you. Meanwhile you have no idea the cop across the street knows your name, address, where you go to school and is just WATCHING you to see what you conduct. its happened to a friend.. keep yourself as low profile as possible.

  4. drugs are bad, weed is good. eat chocolate and smoke weed. no prozac, no morphine, no double-cheese-fried hamburgers...

  5. No..

  6. ha ha i ojhope not.

    or i would b e in troubl.e

  7. In  the UK, talking in the abstract about the effects of drugs would not be a problem, but talking about where to get drugs might well consitute a conspiracy to supply. Talking about your own experiences, your personal highs and lows, is a bit of a grey area. On its own, it is unlikely to give enough evidence to prosecute for using drugs, but could give enough evidence for the police to go to court for a search warrant.

If you are going to talk online about an illegal activity, then there is always a chance that you'll get caught and charged with conspiracy at least.

  8. Nope

  9. No.  The 1st Amendment protects your right to free speech so the police will not come and arrest you.  Besides saying you did something in idle conversation does not amount to a confession.

However, if the police read it, they might start investigating you to see if they can catch you in the act.  Also if your school or employer finds out you can get in trouble from them.

  10. You don't know who is monitoring you e-mails.  Play it smart.  Don't talk about durg use on the computer or on the phone.

  11. It's happened before, so now that a precedent has been set, it could happen again.

Maybe the person you are referring to should confine the blogs to music or s*x (as long as it's not with minors... That'll get you in trouble too).

  12. No, but you wouldn't want to do that if you are in highschool.  They DO monitor your myspace/blogs for some reason.  They did at my school anyways.  A few kids got a stern talking to about their myspace pages...but thats about it.  Don't do drugs and you won't get caught.  Don't "hold" drugs/alcohol for anyone either.  Be smart.

  13. The main law that you have to worry about is inciting others to break the law.

Many countries have laws that are quite severe if you incite, encourage or educate people on breaking the law.

But given the amount of drug usage in movies and TV, a little blog is not going to be too much of a problem, unless some politician decides to target you.

If you become popular or annoy someone important you might find yourself in trouble. Even if you are innocent you have the problem of the cost of defending yourself.

Freedom though, is protected by individuals not being afraid to express themselves. If you don't tell people something, then you are afraid, you are the friend of Osama Bin Laden and the enemy of democracy.

  14. Guess you thought the illegal wiretapping was only for telephone use. Once it is online it can be searched for by using key words...they probably wouldn't unless they thought you were involved in something else...but they are storing massive data that they can look at when they want...I wouldn't.

  15. Yes, that kind of chats are not allowed in our American regime

    Big Brother is watching you!
