Can you get in trouble for walking around town high?

If me and my friends are walking around town on marijuana, can we get in trouble if the cop notices the bloodshot eyes, etc? I mean they can't really test you for it...?

Please explain how and why and how severe the punishment is.

yes you can be charged. if you act weird that's how they will notice. probably the punishment would equal being drunk in public. but if you have some on you, you will be charged with possession

As long as you don't have any weed on you, you should be fine. Don't act like an idiot when you're walking around, keep it chill, and you shouldn't be bothered. If worst comes to worst just invest in some good eye drops or wear sunglasses.
