Can you get insurance for a motorcycle that just covers if it is stollen (comp.) and if I wreck it aka I pay any damage if I hit someone? WA state

  1. Comprehensive without collision coverage?  I doubt it - that would too easy an invitation to insurance fraud.


  2. If it's registered for road use, you need to carry liability on it, but an insurance company should be willing to give you comp, without collision.

    If you want comp, and no liability, you'll need to convince the insurance company it's in storage, in a locked garage, and not being used on the road.

  3. What you have explained is looking at what many will call full coverage.  Liability will cover the your injuries to others, Collision is if you wreck it , Comprehensive cover other than collision loses,  If I where in your shoes I would go out to progressive, and get an idea.  Remember that they like to sell price, look at the difference if you take a little lower deductible and a little higher liability.  Not a lot of cost for a lot more coverage.  Good Luck
