Can you get insurance on a phone after you purchase it?

i bought a phone 26 days ago, theres a 30 day return polocy, but it doesnt take back phones that aren't in "like new" condition. i have a kyocera lingo m1000 and the hinge that flips the screen up has a crack, and it makes it loose. i didn't get insurance, but if i want to get it can i get it put on now?

had you called with a complaint about the hinge, that would have really helped.............I would still take it in, see what happens, all they can do is say you dropped it and charge you???....................depends on your age, but if it was my teenager, I would take it in, the sales reps. kind of have it over the younger kids, and basically Mom's are more assertive...............

With US Cellular yes u can. It just cost more.

But I don't know about any other companys.
