  1. Not only is that stealing, but if the removal of the sign causes an injury or death, you will held responsible.

Best case, you get charged with theft. Worse case, involuntary manslaughter.

  2. yes what matt said is the same thing that happened in this book called  drivers ed about this teacher and kids . the teacher didn't care about the kids the kids went out sign stealing and after some one died he felt like every thing was his fault. it is a good story you should read it when you get a chance. the author name is caroline b. cooney

  3. stealing is a crime

  4. Eliminate the last word or your question because it doesn't matter what you take.  Taking something that is not yours is a crime.

  5. Yea you can

  6. Yes

  7. Yes this is extremely serious. I am aware of a particular matter here in Australia where a young man stole a stop sign at a particular 4 way intersection. A young woman drove through where the stop sign should have been and was T-boned by a 4WD, she died as a result of her injuries. The young mn was located days later with the sign he admitted to stealing from that location and was charged with manslaughter as it was a reasonable and foreseeable consequence of his actions that someone may be hurt/killed due to the missing stop sign.

Trooper nailed it on the head.

You are going to end up in deep S**t.

  8. That it theft. It belongs to the contractor and you could be charged if you took it.

  9. Yes...big trouble

  10. It's called Larceny where I work and yes you could get in trouble.  Anytime you take something that doesn't belong to you you could be arrested.

  11. Yes you can because it does not belong to you.
