What I do whenever I've had to work in the rain and I come home soaked, is to take a hot shower and let the "cold" exit out of my body through the pores. If you stay with the cold inside your body, you can get sick.  But once you take a hot shower you should be okay.  Just don't go out in the cold again, or step on a cold floor with your bare feet.
