Can you get pregnant from precum?

Question

I had s*x 11 days ago and the guy I was having sexual relations with was precumming the entire time and I am not talking about a little her and there, I mean he was wet the whole time. My nipples are very sore and not once have I gotten sore nipples right before my period. I am going to take a test within a couple days because my period is due in a couple days hence why I am nervous since I was ovulating when I had s*x with him.

You can pass judgment if you would like but if I am preggers I do plan on keeping it because it would obviously be my mistake. I just want to know if you can indeed get pregnant from this happening?

Also say I am pregnant... how do you go about telling the guy this news? Please- adult advice only.... I could really use an unbiased opinion.

I'm not judging you, don't worry. Well, just wait about a week until you take a test and if it comes out positive then the best way you can tell the father is in person. Just tell him straight out that you're pregnant.

Yes you can get prego from pre*** because well I heard it has 1 sperm in it and it only takes 1 sperm to get prego!

Yes indeed you can....If you do pop up pregnant, it wont be easy that's for sure, but you will just have to suck it up and let the guy know. He is a part of this too. There might not be an easy way to let him know. It is not a mistake just a lapse in judgment. Good luck with everything!

My son is due today, unfortunately he hasn't decided to grace me with his presence yet.  Anyways I conceived him from precum, the guy never "finished" inside me, so the short answer to your question is yes you can.  I think for telling him all you really can do is just sit him down and say it.  But I would wait until you know for sure, try to relax and I hope all goes the way you would like it.  Good luck!

This is definitely possible. But you should wait until at least the day your period is due to test, just to be most accurate. When is comes to telling him, you just up and tell him. I wouldn't tell him that its a maybe but I would wait until you know for sure. Good luck.

Sounds to me you are taking this VERY maturely which is a huge delight to see.

I'd see if you miss your period first.  If you do miss your period wait for atleast a week to two weeks and then take a pregnancy test.  I'll suggest the First Response with lines.  

If it's positive.  Well. You need to speak with the guy immediately and let him know he's a Daddy.  I admire your honesty with us and being mature enough to keep your baby.

You can get pregnant from precum.  It does contain small amounts of sperm.  It is unlikely that you could get pregnant, but it is possible.

YES you can easily get pregnant from precum.  So theres a possibility you may be.  If you turn out not pregnant, you should use a form of contraception, but note that no method is 100% effective.  You should definitely test when its time for your period. YES Pre-***  has live sperm in it and you can fall pregnant. That is why the "Withdrawal" method of contraception ( he pulls out just before ejaculation)  has an almost 100% failure rate.

If your period is due is a few days then you can take a test now. Modern ones are so sensitive they work very accurately. Remember you can get a false negative but it is very rare to get a false positive. If it is negative then test again in a week, remember though uncommon, you can have a period even if you are pregnant.

As to telling your boyfriend, All you can do is be honest. You don't say if this is a relationship of long standing or someone you've recently met. I think it would be best to wait until you are sure that you are pregnant. Then arrange a meeting in a neutral territory and let him know beforehand that you have something important to discuss. Try not to blurt it out at random and please don't think about doing it by text message. You will need to give him time to get over the shock, and he may react very negatively at first, he will need time to mull it over. Calmly tell him what you are going to do and let him know what you need from him. He deserves a chance to be a positive part of the whole process, even if you are not in a relationship together, he can still be a great dad.and an enormous source of support for you.

If you are at all worried that he may react aggressively or even violently the make sure you have a support person with you. The health and safety of you and your baby is the most important thing right now

If he chooses not to be a part of it and to reject you and or the baby then he still has an obligation to support your child financially.

After all this was not an immaculate conception, and if Men don't want to be fathers then they need to be just as responsible for contraception as women are expected to be.

Precum does contain sperm and that is why the "pulling-out" is not a recommended birth control method.

There is no such thing as a single mother- takes two to have a baby and both the parents need to be responsible (contrary to popular belief, sad to say). keep in mind that he is just as responsible as you are.
