  1. What is BV? Sorry, I don't know what it means

  2. Yes, if the infection causes PID, pelvic inflammatory disease.

The from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an extremely reliable source:

The bacteria that cause BV can sometimes infect the uterus (womb) and fallopian tubes (tubes that carry eggs from the ovaries to the uterus). This type of infection is called pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). PID can cause infertility or damage the fallopian tubes enough to increase the future risk of ectopic pregnancy and infertility. Ectopic pregnancy is a life-threatening condition in which a fertilized egg grows outside the uterus, usually in a fallopian tube which can rupture.

  3. BV?

  4. no, bacterial vaginosis has nothing to do with conceiving.

  5. Yes you can, but if you have BV, you need to have it treated.  It's not a sexually transmitted disease, per se, but there is a possibility that you might have another infection that went untreated and has done damage to your fallopian tubes.

See your OB-Gyn for a full exam and treatment of the bacterial vaginosis, and ask about further testing of your reproductive tract.
