So the old saying goes, you can get pregnant anytime. But the older I have gotten and the more I read about it, they say there is really only those couple of days out of the month you can get pregant. Is this true? Anyone know facts on this ?

  1. You can because the sperm live inside for a couple of days.  If you have s*x a couple days before you ovulate, you can most certainly get preg.  If you have s*x way off from your ovulation, you're safe.  Just make SURE you know when you're ovulating.

  2. you must ovulate and produce a egg before you can get pregnant, no egg no pregnancy.

  3. You can only actually get pregnant when you are ovulating.  No egg = no baby.

But sperm CAN live in your body for several days, and it's not always possible to know for sure (until it happens) when ovulation will happen.  So yes, it's technically possible to get pregnant as a result of s*x at any point in the month.

(Though, realistically, the odds of getting pregnant from s*x very early or very late in the cycle would be extremely low.)

  4. if you have s*x up to 7 days before ovulation yes you can get pg after ovulation up to 1 day

  5. Yes, you can only get pregnant when you ovulate. You have abut 2-3 days every cycle if you are regular.

  6. Yep there is only about a 3-5 day fertile period. You have to ovulate which is releasing an egg to get fertilized..then you become pregnant. Check out these websites to learn more about your cycle..
