  1. No, unless you have a fertility treatment like invitro fertilization where the already-fertilized egg is transfered directly into your uterus.  

    Keep in mind, though, that sperm can live in a woman's body for up to 3-5 days and the egg lives for up to 2 days after its release, so you can get pregnant if you have s*x for several days on either side of actual ovulation.  


  2. I agree with pippin... you can only get pregnant when you ovulate. However, sperm can live for up to 5 days after unprotected s*x. So if you have s*x anytime from 5 days prior to the day of ovulation... you can get pregnant.

  3. No, because ovulation is when you are producing an egg. You need the egg to conceive.

  4. No, you can't actually get pregnant (conceive) until the egg is released.

    However you CAN get pregnant as a result of having had s*x 3-5 days before you ovulate -- the sperm just hang out in the fallopian tubes and wait for the egg to show up.
