  1. You just need to get your lenses with an anti-reflective coating. It cost about $100 on top of your normal lenses cost.

  2. Are you talking about indoor glare, outdoor glare, or night driving glare? Indoor glare; if you need prescription glasses you need to get anti-reflective(sometimes called "Invisibles") coating for your lens. Outdoor glare; Get prescription polarized suglasses with anti-reflective coating. And for night driving glare(Yes you guessed it) you should get anti-reflective coating for your prescription.Get the best you can afford but remember this coating is rather fragile and can be scratched by paper towels. I know this all sounds like a commerical but anti-reflective coating cuts down eye strain from glare very well. If nothing else look into it.

  3. yeah definitely...you want to either get the galsses polarized, or get polarized sunglasses that attach to the glasses...they make ones for night driving, too, if that' what you mean.  here, check this out, but any glasses place can do it:

  4. Depends on what is causing the glare.  If glare from bright sunlight, get prescription sunglasses.

If glare is from cataracts, retinal disease, optic neuritis or corneal disease then you may need special tints.  Consult your eye doctor.
