  1. If you did 3 years of ROTC you will get promoted to E-3. But I don't know about the DEP question you're asking.

  2. Dude better have th epaperwork and get your rank in basic or you willnot go in with more rank then anyone else, if you left high school without the paperwork, kiss getting more rank good-bye.

  3. The only promotion you will get for JROTC is E2, or E3. But your recruiter can get anyone that without JROTC. College ROTC will get you a commissioned as an officer. You will be pushing papers in the office, giving soldiers orders o carry out mission while you enjoy your favorite TV show in the  AC. And get you house, car paid every month

  4. highest the Marines give.. for ANYTHING.. upon initial entry is E2.  you could have a doctorate and they would only give you E2 upon enlistment.

  5. In the Marine Corps you can only get PFC (E-2) for JROTC.

  6. 3 yrs JROTC.. Marines yours be a E-2 Navy your be a E-3 you get payed these grades and put on the stripes upon graduation from boot camp. I don't know what the other services will give you.
