Can you get rid of a piercing scar?

like a nose stud or monroe or belly button? can you get rid of the scars? do the holes last a long time? can you cover up a hole with makeup? experience stories would be great(: 10 points(:

do not use make up! it will cause an infection. i have my nose pierced and i try to keep it away from make up!

depending on your skin some peoples scars are almost un noticable.....you can try maderma....i hear it fades scars....but nothing really gets rid of scar tissue

Yes they leave scars, and only use make up on HEALED scars (it doesn't work very well anyway).

In my opinion the scars are like tattoos- I don't try to hide them! It tells of the person you used to be, nothing to be ashamed of. And they're so small that they're not too noticeable to being with.
