  1. Easily?  You cannot get one at ALL.  The previous poster hit a lot of good points - you must be accepted at that college to POSSIBLE get a scholarship - which is not CASH, but a reduction in tuition or fees.  You sound like you are HS kids with a band, and think that you have talent that will cause a COLLEGE - who is always under-funded, unless they are Harvard, Berea, or a few others - to give YOU money to play in your band?  Did this just pop off the top of your head, or did you think about this at ALL?  Yes, there are GRANTS for established musical organizations with proven track records - and the appropriate not-for-profit LEGAL status (501 c 3, under the US tax law.)  Are you one of them?  If not - you are out of luck.

  2. first of all, you can get a SCHOLARship for yourself, but that is kinda hard to get because you have to great at whatever you do.

second of all, you probably can get a sponsorship for your school from a college, but if you want the college to recigize your school, then your gonna have to prove yourself to the school, have a long history of students who went to that college, your school is gonna have to be good.

    hope i helped
