  1. thats what INSURANCE is for dude.

  2. Well you can get sued for anything just all depends on what lawers think and how the judge makes up his mind if you were driving someones car and crash it and they sue you they must not be a good friend to have or at least one that you dont need to have anything to do with if they had insurance there insurance should take care of the damages if it was the other persons fault then they should take care of the problems if you have insurance yourself on a car you own it should cover you if you are driving someone eleses car

  3. you may have permission to drive the car, in the event of an accident you the driver will be liable. the owners ins. will cover you as long as you had permission to drive his car.

  4. The owners insurance will 99% of the time pay for everything however sometimes the insurance company will not because the person that borrows the vehicle is not on the policy, as for being sued, yes both parties can be sued if the damages are greater than the total amount of the owners coverage is....

  5. How would it be the owner's fault if YOU crashed the car? That doesn't make any sense. If you crashed it and were at fault, then naturally the owner could expect you to pay for damages. If you do not, then of course they can sue you. Doesn't mean they will win, but the option is definitely there. Ultimately it comes down to what the insurance situation is. If their insurance pays for the car, then there is nothing to sue you for, except for maybe the higher payments.
