Can you get the bus to manchester from Newcastle ?

I'm 14 , and am travelling to manchester alone, to visit a family member. My mam suggested the train from central station, but it's quite expensive , and i wouldn't really like to get on it by myself. Any buses ?

yeah national express coach cost £9.25 single, £10.25 (sometimes £15) return. providing your are 14 or over you can travel without an adult.
