yesterday i recieved a ticket for supposedly parking in a fire lane zone when there is a teachers parking on top of it. the fire lane zone is faded out and there is no sign saying that you cant park there and there is no parking on the red. the teacher parking is clearly visible.Everyone has always parked there ever since the teacher parking was put there over the faded fire lane zone. I'm not a teacher or anything and all the students or parents including visitors park there just to do something. This supposedly fire lane is at my High School and since the beginning of the year no one has been ticketed until yesterday and it was my luck to recieve one. So should i have recieved a ticket?? I'm confused...because if they wanted it to be a fire lane zone then they should have re-painted over to visibly show that its a fire lane zone...so what should i do because i have to go to court on April 7

  1. there really is no way because

    a. u were no teacher

    b. you parked at firelane

so  probably both you and the school get in trouble but i am no judge or attorney so i cannot give a reliable answer

  2. Yes. Get high school to repaint.

  3. Take a picture of the unpainted area with you to court and it will probably be dismissed.................
