Can you get work done at home?

I have a home based ebay business and it is impossible to get anything done. My parents think because I am home I must not be busy. Constantly asking me about pointless junk and destroying my concentration. How hard is it leave someone alone?

I have the same problem doing my work (I run a website and do freelance writing).  Only my concentration is broken by an infant and toddler... not to mention my grandmother who constantly calls and wants me to bring the kids over while I'm working.  Urrrr.  Here's a possible solution.  Tell them you are working between the hours of (blank) and (blank) and tell them you do not want to be bothered.  Turn the phone off, put a sign on your door that says, "Busy.  Come back later."  Maybe this helps.
