Can you get your cheek pierced even with Braces ?

Question

I have braces but they will be off in a few weeks .

And Iam Getting My cheek pierced this week .

IS it okay to do it with Braces ?

My braces dont go all the way back on my teeth either ?

No i suggest waiting till after there off, the piercing will b irrated && the braces will get messed up, have a lil patience && ull b good

why would you want your cheek pierced? i wouldn't do it with braces either

I can think of several reasons you might want to wait until your braces are off.

First of all,  your cheek will be tender,  and the dentist will need to be pulling your cheek out of the way to remove your braces,   that would hurt a lot I would guess.

Second,   whatever you are using to put in your cheek,  a ring or bar or anything,  it will keep bumping and getting caught up in your braces,  possibly breaking both.

For your comfort,  I'd wait a few extra weeks to get your cheek pierced,   it's not worth the pain the dentist will inflict on you pulling your cheeks around !
