Over a month ago i bought an item on paypal that i never received. I used a credit card to pay for the item. The seller admitted to not shipping the item but had received payment.I had to wait 10 days with paypal to confirm there was no proof of shipment. The seller has since decided to stop using paypal and to not add any money to his account and paypal refuses to issue a refund until he does is there anything else that can be done or am i out the money?

  1. You should be able to dispute with credit card company, especially since you have proof of him admiting not sending it.  If it was purchased thru ebay, I believe you can dispute that way too.

  2. Have you tried disputing the charge with the credit card company?

  3. If it was a insured purchase through paypal you can get your money back but if it was un insured you are pretty much out the money. I know if it is over a certain amount they have to give it back to you no matter what. It is a long process though

  4. You should be able to get your money back from your credit card company.

  5. Nothing can be done. Its happened to me before.Sorry:(
