Hi I'm currently a mechanical engineering student at sdsu and I was wondering if I could get my master's in bioengineering without actually getting a bs in bioengineering or biology.

  1. Yes, you can.  You might need a few extra classes, but any kind of engineering background will satisfy the prereqs for a bioengineering masters degree.

  2. Good question.  Look at the requirements needed to apply for the bioengineering program.  Also, ask an advisor.
