My rabbit really smells and he NEEDS a bath. However people always say, Oh never give your rabbit's bath while some say it's okay. What should I do?

  1. it depends on if your rabbit is calm or shy and freaks out at things. if she isn't easily spooked than I would try to give her a bath. fill the bath tub with about an inch of water and put your rabbit in it. gently get her wet and then put some shampoo on her. (my friend uses human shampoo but there is special rabbit shampoo at pet stores) rinse her well! make sure she is dryed well.

if your rabbit is the kind that spooks easily, try some of the waterless cat baths or try washing her off with a wet wash cloth

    hope this helps!

  2. DONT! It can put it into shock , get some wipes from pets mart and they work!

  3. i've given my rabbit baths, and she actually really enjoys it. I would say no i guess it can put them in shock, but my rabbit REALLY enjoys them especially if i put a rubber ducky she pushes it around and has great fun.

If you decide to give her a bath make sure there's a mat for her to stand on because they can slip around and fall.
