  1. it should say on the packet

  2. So we actually have thrush right now, me and my daughter, and i gave her infant Tylenol at 1 month. I know if you call the doctor they will definitely say don't give it to her, so i say go with your mommy instincts because i was freaking out when they told me not to give her the tylenol. I kept shouting at the nurse asking her what do i do??!! and she just said, wipe her mouth with a warm towel and i was going to choke her over the phone. We are on our third course of nystatin and i am super close to buying some gentian violet because i heard good things about it. But anyways, make sure if you are using nystatin to rub it around in her mouth with your fingers so that it comes in contact with the fungus directly.  if shes in that much pain i say give her a little bit of tylenol, it hurts more to see her suffer from pain and i gave my daughter tylenol and shes doing perfectly fine. Make sure to give her a little bit ...1/4 of what the recommended dosage is, if you decide too.

  3. Tylenol probably won't help much with thrush-we've never recommended it. Anytime you feel like a newborn needs Tylenol, it's best to check with the doctor. They will need to give you your dosage, anyway.

    Good luck! Congrats!

  4. Call and ask your doctor. Any problems with your baby under 2months old should be seen by the doctor.

  5. it should be okay...call the pediatrician and ask..my sister-inj-laws little boy had thrush mouth and his ped. perscribed him something for it and said to wipe his mouth with a warm cloth from time to time....but def. check first.

  6. call the doctor and ask them.

  7. yeah but you will need to call the doctor to know how much to give

  8. i would call the pediatrician before you give the tylenol.  it should be ok, but they will tell you exactly how much to give based on weight.

  9. i dont think its very safe to do that..  if i was you i would call her dr asap..  the dr can give her something for the pain..
