  1. In what condition is the dead organism? Are you trying to distinguish between a fossil and a rock? If so, only the finer shape and texture can tell you, because tissues may have been completely replaced with mineral stuff.

  2. 1- its made of molecule 2- it can be changed 3- time affects it equally.

Difference- dead organism have more radiation

  3. Living and nonliving things both undergo in cycles. We living things are a part of carbon cycle, water cycle, nitrogen cycle and many more. Nonliving things also undergo in cycles, let's say the rocks. Rocks have rock cycle(igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic.).

Both are also important in the ecosystems. Living things depend on each another for survival(competition, predation, parasitism) and nonliving things also are needed for life processes in living things(respiration etc).

They are also composed of smaller units, or subatomic particles. Our molecules in our body have subatomic particles, same as nonliving things.

Dead organisms are made up of carbon decaying, unlike nonliving things that really do not decay at all.
