Can you give me ALL of the info you have on hamsters?

I am too my fourth hamster and wanted to brush up a little bit.

    1)if u got a female n male..in 1 week they wil have babies o.O

    2) if they have babies do not stare at them..cus they eat the babies u do..idk why..but they do..

    3) they eat anyying chips..vegetables lol its funny

    4) u cn play with them so thy cn get to no u good

    5)wash the cage 4 times a week..cus it stinks! in there lol...trust me tht y my mom made me sell mine...

    6)keep cage close..they wil escape n they r fast!!!!!!!!

    7)ther than that they r very fun to have..

    WARNING IF U HAVE BRONCHITIS DO NOT HAVE HAMSTERS FOR PETS OR THEYR HAIR CN GO INTO UR LUNGS N KIL U..ALMOST HAPND TO MY FRIEND...

  4. 1. Don't leave the cage open for even 1 second the will run out in go in a dark place like under your bed or in your closet.

    2. When you first get him let him adjust to his new home.

    3. After he adjusts for at least a few hours hold him every day for the next week so he can get used to human hands.

    4. Change his cage once every week because if you do it any less it will stink and if you do it any more your hamster won't be able to stash his food in a place.

    5. When you clean his cage and you see a treat in a certain place try to put it back after you are done cleaning.

    6. Give him or her new water every 1 or 2 days.

    7. They only live about 1000 days so if he dies in a year or so don't think it is because of you.

  5. Well there is ALOT, but I will put in as much as I can type with out my fingers falling off lol

    - Syrian Hamsters are often labled as the Panda Bear, Teddy Bear, Golden, Black Bear....

    - Syrians are the largest tryp of pet hamster in the most common

    - Dwarf Hamsters need to live in groups 2 or more of the same gender

    - Syrian Hamsters are solitary and MUST be kept alone.

    - Dwarf Hamsters are not very good for children, and you can't really play with them. They will bite and try to escape

    -Dwarf Hamsters Should be kept in tanks

    - Syrian Hamsters should be kept in wire cages no smaller then 18"lx12"w although buy a cage as big as you can afford.

    - Hamsters are master escape artists

    - Don't use pine bedding, use aspen. CAREFRESH bedding is the best to use. It also is available in colors.

    - Hamsters are nocturnal

    - Must be fed a balanced diet. Fiesta food brand is very good and has all the nutrients nessasary

    - Some veggies and fruits are dangerous for hamsters, such as watermellon

    - Hamsters need to run on there wheels. There wheels should be solid, no bars or grids. They run up to 6-8 miles per night!

    - Hamsters can be potty trained and taught tricks

    - It is better to purchase your hamster from a breeder or a little private petstore, rather then petco or petsmart.

    - Hamsters bedding and cage toys must be cleaned once a week

    - Hamsters teeth grow all their life and need a chewing place to keep their teeth trimed. This can be a block of wood or specially made hamster chew sticks

    - Don't feed your hamstr to many treats, limit yourself to 2 a day, max.

    - You have to train your hamster to get used to you before you can pick it up
