  1. le college bistro

  2. Aux petits plats (oh puhtee plah)

Petits plats means "homemade good dishes"

  3. why not something simple like "the french cafe"? it tells potential customers exactly what they're in for, without some intimidating name that they're afraid of mispronouncing before they even walk in the door.

  4. La Cuisine

  5. La bonne crepe.

  6. adam c has the best answer

  7. Often French restaurants are called "Chez" (meaning at the house of) and then the owner of the restaurant.

But to think that every French restaurant was named like this would be a common stereotype.

If it is for a school project you have to be imaginative. try thinking of something obscure but not complete stupid.

Near to wear i live there is a French Restaurant called cafe rouge, try and avoid names like this as you can tell it was just made to "wow" us and make it sound exotic when actually it is quite dumb, you would call a pub in england the blue pub so why call a French restaurant cafe rouge.

It would be better if it was something that people will remember so make so that it will make people question it.

  8. Savoir Faire

  9. Le Chene French Cuisine

  10. Chez Famous Ray's.

  11. There are so many lovely french words that you can use to name a restaurant.

My personal favorite is named after a beautiful plantation in New Orleans, LA called "Bon Sejour" meaning pleasant sojourn. (or pleasant journey)

Or you could call it Bon Appetite after Julia Child, the french chef.
