Preferably, something like a funny poem or song.

eg. Lanthanides can be remembered as "Lazy(La) college(Ce) professors(Pr) never(Nd) produce(Pm) sufficiently(Sm) educated(Eu) graduates(Gd) to(Tb) dramatically(Dy) help(Ho) executives(Er) trim(Tm) yearly(Yb) losses(Lu)"

  1. If you mean in order, then I can't help you with a poem or mnemonic. But if you mean all the elements in random order, find Tom Lehrer's "The Elements" on YouTube or at http://privatehand.com/; it has all the elements set to a tune, which is easy enough to learn off.

  2. Please do not waste your time trying to memorise the periodic table. There are many other important things that you must try and understand and learn. The periodic table is the most important REFERENCE that you have available to you as a chemist and it is intended to be used as a reference work. All chemists have a periodic table available which they use constantly to chech out data. All chemistry students at high school, college or university in my country are given a periodic table as reference to use in their exams. No-one expects them to memorise this.

You would think it very strange if you were asked to memorise a dictionary or telephone directory, wouldn't you ? I find it just as strange that someone would want to memorise the periodic table.
