Hmm. Well I meet lots of other moms at homeschool functions.  I probably wouldn't make the time to meet with them if my kids weren't benefiting from it in some way.  I'd say I was too busy.

Well I know that if it wasn't for me being involved in so many activities, my mother wouldn't know half the friends she has. A lot of my mother's closest friend are parents of my friends, fellow fencers, fellow musicians, etc, and she met them through me after I met their kids.
