HSC, SSC written exams start on February 28, March 11

Pune: The HSC (Std XII) and SSC (Std X) examinations conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will start from February 28 and March 11, respectively.

   A statement released on Friday by board secretary Vinay Dakshindas said the practical and oral exams for HSC would be held from February 11 to 26. The written exams, to start on February 28, will end on March 28.

   The SSC exams (practical and oral) will be held from February 25 to March 8. The written tests will be conducted from March 11 to 31, while the practicals of technical and vocational subjects will be held from April 2 to 10.

   With the introduction of the new syllabus, this would be the last opportunity for repeaters to take the tests under the old curriculum. Exams for both the old and new syllabi will be conducted in the same period but the time-tables will be issued separately.
