Well, Botucatu is in Sao Paulo State, 225 Km from Sao Paulo City. U can rent a car (Rodovia Marechal Rondon), or go by bus (Serra Dourada is the name).

A lot of natural wonders, tracking etc. Night life.

It's kinda boring...but that depends on your background. If you're from rural Iowa you might find it fascinating and cosmopolitan.
