Have you ever tried Kitchen Princess? (It's a graphic novel) There is definitely some romance/adventure in it, but it's somewhat sad. If this isn't what you wanted, sorry. Hope I helped! :)

Baccano (complete - very different from all other anime I've seen in how it tells the story)

Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch (2 season ongoing - has all you asked for)

Death note (complete - don't really have a lot of comedy or romance, there's a bit of it though)

Hunterxhunter, Hunter X Hunter - Greed Island, Hunter X Hunter - Greed Island Final (anime  series is complete but the manga is still ongoing. The end in the anime is a bit misleading if you compare with what happens in the manga.)

Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED (complete) - don't know if it was this gundam series you meant

Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED Destiny (complete)

Major (season 1-3 complete, 4th ongoing. Well it's a sports series and might not be counted as action, but almost... I love it anyways)

Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan - Tsuiokuhen (complete, no comedy in this one though. It's great though)

I hear you brother, those 100 episode of more franshise anime suck ***. Well now you seem to be quite inform about some good anime but I'm suprised you don't have any evangelion in there, its classic, action/mecha/phycological and geneous. Now death not would be another brilliant one and its quite recently made too and if you like claymore go to the source of that midievil fantasy anime and get berserk. Now if your looking a for the full on culture shock anime with martial arts, boundyhunters, spaceships (the works really) try out cowboy bebop. There you go nearly naming the top five already.

if you want fantasy/supernatural/adventure/action all rolled into one then this is your anime.  sadly there is no romance though.  its more of a friend kinda thing.

its a great anime that is complete at 51 eps and the ending is great. it has a great plot and A LOT of plot twists. it even has some funny moments. there is a lot of symbolism in it and it has the whole go to another world thing. the fights are interesting and are far from predictable. you wont be able to set the computer down! also this is the only anime to ever make me cry. in ep 50 you just wanna jump into ur computer and give Zed, main character, a big hug! but its not lame.

its about a boy named zed who is trapped in this horrible city named calm. there is no wind (symbolism) there and he feels like he is trapped and cant breath. his only friend there is noa. a boy who is physically in bad health. because zed is strange in calm he always gets in trouble with cops and one day noa saved him and suddenly zed is strangely transported to another world where he finds "the wind". later noa is also found in that world in a different part. there are these things called "spirits" that are controlled by shard casters, zed is one and so is noa. the plot is twisted like crazy and it makes sence too! its amazing! anyway there is a war in this new world and zed and noa get caught up in it. noa changed drastically in this world and gets away from his real reason for coming to the world. to protect zed. alot happens that would take too long to explain but in the end......ahh i cant tell you it will spoil stuff! but anyway i can tell you one thing. its not all fight win fight win we all live happily ever after. soo anyway check it out :)

btw tenjho tenge is probly the only anime with the dubbed (imo) better than  subbed
