there are no disadvantages of 'over self confidence'. The more confidence you have the better.

however, maybe you meant being perceived as arrogant; in that case, your confidence is actually lower, because arrogant people unconsciously mask their lack of confidence by acting overly confident.

In sum, confident people don't feel insecure and in return make people around them feel good, too.

and can give you a lower value of yourself if you don't make to the top .it can  get at your every time that you don't quite get to the top of whatever you had planned .thing you feel like your failure .which is wrong sometimes top step can stop you on the latter .you have to stop and look where you're at .look around and appreciate were you reached are ready .

Self confidence is a good thing but too much is not very right  People would think you are stuck up an that you think too much of yourself and that you look down on other ...... and if you ask me I really do think being over self confident is rather annoying!

aldo i recommend being self-confident rather than no confidence, self confidence can lead to some very narcissistic behavior which can irritate or push people away

You're not being you're true self (putting on a confident front)

Get into sticky situations from being too confident and afterwards not fulfill promises you made in the past.
