help out at a community center. Maybe a old folks home. Those are easy jobs, and many people like to see you there.

Volunteer at the local animal shelter. You can help clean kennels and cages, or just pet and play with the animals.

Earth Day clean-ups are going on next weekend.  Contact a Homeless shelter.  Perhaps a community theater production.
