  1. Rocky marciano VS Jersey Joe Walcott in 1952, Joe Walcott (the current heavyweight champion of that time) floored Rocky in the 1st round, then continued to out point him for the next 13 rounds, Rocky was in danger, he had been cut and bruised up pretty bad and was on the vurge of being stopped on injuries, but in the fading couple of minutes of the 13th round, Rocky lands a right hook to the head and BOOM, Walcott is counted out just like that, one punch changed everything and made rocky the heavyweight champion.

  2. I'd have to go with the first Jose Luis Castillo vs. Diego Corrales fight. Corrales was knocked down twice in the 10th round and came back to defeat Castillo in the very same round.  The ref, Tony Weeks, stopped the contest when Castillo appeared to be out cold on his feet against the ropes.

  3. Fluffy head said it. Julio Cesar Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor I. This fight was so incredible, unbelievable, It was dub ed the fight of the millennium. Julio was loosing all rounds until 16 seconds left on the 12 round. Meldrick was KO! 2 seconds left in the fight. It was March 16 1990.

  4. julio cesar chavez v meldrick taylor.nuff said!!!

  5. JMM vs Pac 1 - due to first round 3 knock-down disaster for Marquez, followed by his mounting of what has to be one of the greatest gut-checking comebacks in boxing over the course of the remaining 11 rounds.  Juan Manuel somehow summoned up the will to give himself a chance and ultimately allow his superior boxing skill to take over.  Whether draw or win for JMM is close enough to be seriously debated; so it earns my vote.

  6. My best example belongs to the late, great Diego "Chico" Corrales.  His first fight with Jose Luis Castillo was a killer fight, back and forth action, but in the last round Corrales was all but knocked out, even going so far as to spit his mouthpiece out to gain a few extra seconds of "breathing time".  He was even penalized a point for doing it, making it surely a 10-7 round at that point.  However, he was able to rally back, pounding Castillo against the ropes until the referee saved a helpless Castillo by waving the fight off.  Truly one of the best turnaround comebacks in a fight I've ever seen.

jorge paez w 15 calvin grove (paez scored 3 knockdowns in the final round)

muhammad ali ko 11 ron lyle

rafael ruelas w 12 freddie pendelton (ruelas was floored twice in the first round, but dan goosen told him "you broke his heart, because you got up twice......the title is yours")

george foreman ko 5 ron lyle (foreman down, and almost out)

  9. The first fight between Ray Leonard and Thomas Hearns (1979 i think?) Leonard was a beaten man, but came back in the 13th or 14th round and delivered a brutal knockout fort the win.

  10. One of the best fights I have ever seen was Dave Boy green V. Carlos Palomino Green was taken it to carlos the whole fight but Carlos turned it around what a fight.I go back to this fight all the time because there was so much drama in it unbelievable. And I have seen all the fights that the guys above me have said were great come back fights they were not close to what this fight had sorry.

  11. Mike Weaver vs. John Tate. Tate was pitching a virtual shutout until Weaver landed the bomb in the 15th round. The older fellas remember this one!

  12. Juan Manuel Marquez vs PacMan 1.... i know it was a draw but was the best fight i ever saw that had one guy looking very overmatched after a horrendous first round, then went on to win almost every round afterward.... in my eyes and many others, except filipino fans of course, Marquez won that fight and outclassed Manny for 10 of the 12 rounds in the first fight

  13. ray leonard against hearns in their first fight

julio caesar chavez against meldrick taylor
