Can you give me some info about the stimulus package and is it effective?

how was the economy before the stimulus package, and how is it afterwards? is it good? bad? worst off? better? and where do i get sources to see the before and after. i'm trying to write some paper on it.

Quotable info should be available on the net, economic data is easily found. The economy is bad and getting worse. As far as the so called stimulus package is concerned, think about it,160 billion did very little if anything. It was implemented at the same time the IRS was busy taking 1.2 trillion out of the economy, tax day. For every dollar being put in a fist full of dollars was removed. Effective, how could it be??
