Can you give me some info on lip rings?

1. when you get one, do they let you choose between a ring or a stud?

2. how long until you can change it?

3. how badly does it hurt to get pierced?

4. what are a few points I can use to get my dad to agree to let me pierce it? (i'm almost 17, and he is not very strict.. i just need a few good arguments to win him over.)

5. when you take it out, is the scar very noticeable?

1. they will pierce it with a bar

2. you can change it within 4-6 weeks

3. everyones pain tolerance is different, but its just a little 3 second sting, nothing major.

4. just point out that you could get something much worse than a lip ring heh.

5. depending on what gauge the jewelery is will depend how big the scar will be when you take it out, but generally its just a small dot!

just ask the piercer anything else you need to know

if you go to a good piercer they will tell you all you need to know!
