Christmas is coming sooner than I would like, and I want to buy a 360 for my son. I know there were some problems with the 360 when it first came out, like it overheating and stuff. What questions do I need to ask and what should I look for when I go to buy a used one? I know diddly about video game stuff.

  1. Well what you should ask is:

    - If it will overheat and will blow up

    - What kind've stuff can you do on XBOX LIVE

    - Is it ok for (however old your son is)

    - And if he'd reccomend this to other buyers

    - also if he has gotten any complaints in the past month about the XBOX 360

    Hope I helped!

  2. I would suggest waiting a little closer to christmas, xbox's are rapidly dropping in price and you could probably get a cheaper one closer to then

  3. Well that is true but the newer models the ones that cost $299-350 do not break as easily as before. Also if it does break you have a three year warranty and they pay for everything.

  4. Firstly, a used one could easily have defects, which could therefore ruin ur game experience. It could have many scratches which could ruin 360 and make it look like an antique. U also have to be lucky to actually find a used and not have a defect. That's probably why people sell it because it could either be very old and dusty or just could have problems. Good Luck.
