Delete works well also.

So does emptying your Recycle Bin.

Take a look around on your computer.  See what programs you installed that you never use.  Uninstall them.  Delete the installers you downloaded.  Take movies and music you have downloaded, burn copies of them to CDs, then delete the originals from your harddrive.

I have to assume you are talking about your Hard drive space.  Because as far as clearing the Memory space... if you aren't talking about your storage, you are talking about your RAM.  TO clear that, stop running lots of programs at one time.  Don't run a music player while browsing the internet and IMing people, while keeping that game you were playing paused in the background.  Doing all of that will eat away at your RAM, but closing some of those programs will free it up.

If you mean memory then just restart your computer and its cleared If you mean hard drive space WHICH I THINK YOU DO then go to control panel and uninstall programs that you dont use, or right click internet explorer and go to properties and delete the temporary internet files and cookies, also delete files from your desktop if you saved any there or files in my documents OR go to START>>>all programs>>> accesories>>system tools>> Disk cleanup
