i have seen numerous photographs of what has been described the martian surface showing"cities" are these genuine

also pictures of lakes, forests and even of a supposed martian all taken by nasa probes,do you think that there is/was life on mars and what are the possibilities of humans being actually from there originally.

many of the pictures do look genuine but it is very easy to manipulate images nowadays

  1. its probably photoshopped, if these pictures were taken with something/someone on mars then it is fake, simply because the government tried to land some robots onto mars, it cost millions, but it failed as the robot didn't land right.

  2. There is no evidence that any civilization ever lived there. The atmosphere is high into CO2 ,bur it is very cold. We need to plant some plant that can stand the temp.

  3. There are no cities on mars! dont believe in those counterfeit images made to make a fool of you. none of these can be genuine.

Mars is the 4th planet from the sun and so on, i would not bother to tell stuff like that. The fun thing to think about mars is its polar ice caps. These ice caps are made of water. also there are many surface marks, which sugests that mars once had complicated draniage systems, with loads of tributaries and distributaries.

The main problem with mars is that its either too hot, or too cold. Also, its made up of 95% of carbondioxide. Carbon dioxide may solve the problem of the freezing temperature, but worsen the hot temperature trends. in other words, it can act like a giant green house.

I dont actually think that life is actually possible there, but as i always say.... the more you see the less you know, the more you find out as you go....

  4. If any life exists on Mars today, scientists believe it is most likely to be in pockets of liquid water beneath the Martian surface. These underground water chambers could harbor microscopic organisms called extremophiles, organisms that have evolved unique strategies for existing in extreme environments. On the surface, the suns rays and little ozone have made it sterile. If there were ever life on mars, it probably wouldnt have had long enough to evolve in order to build cities.

There is a number of theories about Earth being populated by microbes beyond our solar system, eg :a meteorite from mars. So maybe we are, in a sense, from mars.

  5. yes, and all people called martin are actually martians too

come on dude, dont fall for stuff like that

  6. Honestly, I do think that there is life on Mars. When people hear this they say that we would have known by now. But life doesn't mean humans and animals. It means bacteria (which is what all life came from, from a scientific point of view). It is believed that a mile under the polar ice caps (which is frozen water) on Mars, that there is flowing water which helps support life. Water did once flow on the surface of Mars which can be shown through trails in the ground from water eroding at the ground itself.

As of humans being originally from Mars, that is a possibility. The way that water is believed to have gotten on Earth was from coments hitting Earth which has water in them. Some rock from Mars could have came to Earth carring life.

Of course, none of this can be known for sure until people are able to get to Mars. While the rovers are amazing and loads of help, the human touch in nessacary to help aid our thoughts on everything.

  7. Well it's round, the third planet from the sun in our solar system and many freaks below there is inhabitants on it. That sums it up for me.

  8. I think that in 100 years ppl will be living on mars lol

  9. I think Mars is something that needs to be left alone until we actually have the money to fund the exploration of it and other planets.

I think the pictures are legit, and it's a great thing to know what it looks like on surface, but I really think it's a waste of time to search for "other life". However, if they want to search for something, they need to be searching for minerals that we do not have on earth. If they look closely, maybe they can find something on mars or another planet that can help cure major diseases, such as cancer and aids.

  10. lol i dont doubt that there was once life there or it was at one point extremely likely but today certainly no forests lakes etc. maybe microbial life that would be very exciting but unlikely

  11. I think you got duped.

Mars is nothing but a rocky terrain with deep canyons and sand stroms.

  12. There are no lakes, forests, or cities on Mars.  There is also no carving of a face.

I am hopeful that microbial life may exist there, possibly in subsurface resevoirs of liquid water.

  13. I can't travel that far.  But I can give you my thoughts here.....

  14. Just to point out it is the 4th planet from the Sun. earth is the 3rd.

  15. well, as Elton John said, "Mars ain't the kind of place to raise a kid"
