When you look at Ron Paul's voting records, policies, and general views, I can't see why he didn't make the cut! Help me understand.

  1. the Republicans needs a puppet. thats McCain

  2. Reason #1........Because McCain & Obama are breathing.  (At least we know McCain is)

  3. Ron Paul won't get elected.   Ron Paul is an ideologue and his followers have a cult like addiction to his every utterance.    Ideology is a frame work for decisison making but US Gov't isn't about Ideology, it is about wisdom, leadership and persuading people that certain things need to be done - not all of them pleasent.

The followers of Ron Paul and Lyndon Larouche and zomboid robots.

  4. Ron Paul is vastly better than McCain. I voted  for him in the primaries. Obama, Ron Paul...I'm conflicted. Ron Paul has more integrity, but Obama is better at organizing people, so would probably do a better job at governing.

    I really don't like McCain's politics.

  5. Your candidate Ron Paul was not very convincing, was he?  There are thousands upon thousands of good men and women out there but if they and their campaign staff can't convince the American public of their abilities, then they have no choice but to go to the house.

  6. They won daaahhh

  7. cause when ron paul starts talking about abolishing the irs and wanting to push a libertarian ideology on the country, everyone tunes him out. go back to your first political science class and tell your professor he's not always right.

  8. Ron Paul is nuts. He has a history of associating with white supremist groups, and is so enamored with his own ideology (constitution worship) that he can't see through his own BS.

  9. I truly would like to know as well!  McCain is about the same in experience and such, but Paul was a good choice...

  10. At least Ron Paul isn't a psycho, like Sarah Palin.

  11. Ron Paul, in the first republican debate (which was his first real chance to show the country what he stands for) stood up and said that we shouldn't fight our enemies because they don't want us to.  I watched this debate in Baghdad.  A couple minutes after he said that, I picked my jaw up off the floor, and realized why I hadn't heard more from him until then.

  12. I liked Ron Paul...I think he just looks a little nutty. If you see the debates you will notice that everyone kind of dismissed him as being too aloof. But I agree with you, I think he would have made a great president. But today everyone is so focused on image which is why Obama got to where he is at. Like Hillary said...he gives a good speech, it's very superficial.

  13. I'm not a Ron Paul supporter, but frankly, I cannot answer your question.  The only thing I can say is that maybe Paul didn't spend enough money or time (tv and radio ads) getting his message out.

  14. Ron Paul is absolutely right on everything except the war.  People in America just don't wanna be speaking Arabic!  Too bad he didn't have it right on the war, He would be the next President.

  15. Because he wasn't a far leaning liberal or republican.

  16. Why he didn't make the cut?

Because he couldn't carry a football if it had a handle on it.

  17. They aren't.  They're all conservatives, which is the last thing this country needs now (or ever).  The only person who's qualified is Dennis Kucinich, and the corporate pigs who own the "liberal" media made sure nobody got to hear a Democrat debate all the pretenders.

  18. More people voted for either of them in Primaries than for Ron Paul. And one of the requirements to become a presidential candidate - you need to get enough people votes. That's one major qualification Ron Paul failed at (I'm sorry).

  19. Ron Paul wants to eliminate the Department of Education.

  20. both sides think he's an idiot...need more than that?

  21. The real reason is people are nervous about Ron Paul. He wants to change many things, he has great ideas but people are nervous because they don't know how his ideas would play out. He says he would get rid of the tax system and bring home all American troops. Many people would agree these are good ideas but aren't willing try them because they are just so extreme and if could reek chaos to America and possibly the rest of the world if didn't work to plan.

  22. well, see he's crazy.

He has a bunch of weird ideas, like with education and stuff

  23. nope
