  2. I assume that by evolution you mean a reorder from naive physical theory to more accurate physical theory.

    one example of this is the evolution of the idea of gravitation. Newton considered gravity a force, moving instantaneously throughout the universe.

    It took three hundred years to come up with a counter example of this.

    Einsteins theory of general relativity shows that Gravity isn't necessarily a force but the result of a higher dimensional geometry of space and time. and as a result that gravitation cannot travel instantaneously.
