  3. the Volkswagen corporation has a plant in Mexico as does Ford.  I believe that this is because of cheaper labor.  Also much of our fruit, vegtable products as well as cocoa beans, tequila, vanilla beans, vanilla, kalua, chocolate.  Finally we have a wealth of toys and clothes that are made in Mexico.  Not to mention as above all the pottery and tile products, furniture that is of the area, jewelry of turquois and silver.

    We actually import quite a lot from Mexico; we just don't like to admit it.
