He is turning 7. Last year we had a big thing with a moon bounce and pizza and other foods, all kinds of stuff . over 50 people came. This year I want to do something smaller like just have a few friends over to spend the night and order pizza and let them play video games.

WE are going to disney world in may so my son is cool with a small thing.

so with 7 year olds spending the night, what kind of fun things could i do with them?

  1. Order in Pizza, rent a cool movie, play some board or video games, eat popcorn, ice cream and cake and have a good old fashioned game of hide and seek or flashlight tag.

    They'll love it.

  2. a cool dvd pizza popcorn party games playstation

  3. 7 year olds can entertain themselves.  Maybe rent a movie or some video games they can do on their own.  Get some pizza and snacks and just let them play on their own.

  4. Try a piniata.  They LOVE that.  You could have a jello eating contest-NO HANDS ALLOWED!  think of things that come in pairs such as comb and brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc. and write the word of one on a card. Pass the cards out secretly to each kid and see how long it takes them to match up. The only rule is that they can't ask directly what the word the other person has. Maybe you could try some of these: Here's a fun one, no pressure, easy to prepare and do, and can easily tie into your angel theme. Buy or make some baker's dough - enough for everyone. (Recipe: 4 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 1 3/4 cups water, mix and divide into 10 parts. You can color the dough with food coloring if you prefer. Make more if needed for more players.) Give each player a section of dough and ask them to make an angel. Have them set their completed angels on a long table for everyone to admire. Then give awards for: "Most Delicate Angel," "Biggest Angel," "Funniest Angel," "Strangest Angel," "Cutest Angel," "Saddest Angel," and so on! Why not have a talent show. Tell people to prepare something for the party and then video tape it and show it to the guests. Everyone must participate to really make it fun. Have everyone bring a baby picture of themselves and put them on a board with numbers. See who can guess the most right. Start off with a blown up picture of Father Time and play a game of Pin the beard. Set up a Treasure Hunt in one of the houses and cute poems as clues. Get one of those great box mystery games and everyone be a character.

  5. Your ideas sound great. Can't go wrong with pizza and video games. Maybe throw in some movies.  I remember I bought my niece a trampoline for Christmas and her birthday is the 29th of December. It was snow outside so we set up the trampoline in the livingroom(of course we moved all the breakables out 1st) for her sleepover, they had a ball.

  6. you might want a parents permission and take them to disney world or the moveis

  7. Having a sleep over with boys is hard unless you have a yard they can play in. I'd encourage some outdoor games if you can. Limit the friends to like 3.  Have them wind down with a movie & popcorn.  They can also make a sleeping bag tent if you have a big enough space. My son did a big sleepover party at that age and all the boys turned into whiney babies when the lights went out. At seven they are not as mature as you would think ( and not as secure as girls aparently.) Just keep it simple and goooood luck!

  8. Lazer tag, i loved that when i was 7.

  9. Order a pizza(at the party), have him pick his best freinds to join, make sure you have some of your friends there to so that you don't get mad with all the kids running around, and make it dark in the room and put in a horror movie.

             (hope this helped)
