I'm thinking about going on a cruise after graduation with my friends, but we will all still only be seventeen years old unless we wait until later in the year. So i want to know if my friends and i would be able to book a cruise and with who?

  1. No. You have to have someone over 21 with you in the cabin or someone to book the cabin of that age, and then on Carnival you have to be at least 25. You need to find a cousin or a sibling to book the room with you and you can only fit like 4 of you in a room and you can get conjoining staterooms and in that case you need only one adult to book the one room and then the other kids can have the other room. Unless you get a suite and they can usually fit up to 8 but those are more expensive and I dont know what youre budget can afford.....

  2. No....all major cruise lines say you have to be 21 and if your bringing someone who isnt a family member they have to be atleast 18

  3. The one word answer is NO.  At least one person in the cabin has to be at least 21 and the others cruising in that cabin must be at least 18.

Wait a little while and you will have an awesome time on your cruise.

  4. ya u need some1 over 25 i think in the room...me n my friends were thinking that after graduation...but that got blown up...looks like were going some where else next summer

  5. from Carnival's page:

Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older. The exceptions Carnival will make to this policy are:

    Royal Caribbean's page:

No guest under the age of twenty-one (21) will be reserved in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult twenty-one (21) years of age, or older. This age limit will be waived for minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms or under-aged married couples (proof of marriage is required). Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to ask for proof of age. Royal Caribbean International's age policy for gambling and consumption of alcoholic beverages is as follows: Please note: An individual's age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation.
