If you are pregnant, possibly 8-10 weeks, can you go on a cruise? Do you need your doctor's and the cruise's permission before doing so? If you are approved to go, is it enjoyable since you are pregnant and can't really party and drink?

  1. theres nothing wrong with going on the cruise.  You should check with ur doctor as a precaution.  Is there any point in partying and drinking?  Its bad for you anyway.

  2. Thats fine, If you were up around 30 weeks or so then they might not let you. I dont think you need a doctors note. Of course it will be enjoyable. Cruises are so much fun!

    Happy Cruising!

  3. Why not!  As long as your obgyn says ok....go for it.  After your cruise you'll have little time to get away from it all again.  Believe me.  Of course health and safety first.

    Have fun!

  4. Desiree is right on the money.  Each cruise lines has a policy pertaining to pregnant woman.  Make sure to ask when you book your cruise.  DO NOT rely on a travel agent.  Call the cruise lines directly and make sure you get the person's name.  Ask them to send you the policy in writing.  I'm the person that used to deny boarding to passengers.  Trust me, it's not a fun spot to be in.

  5. Most cruise ships don't allow pregnant women in their third trimester to board the cruise. However, you're still early on in the pregnancy, so just to be safe, bring a letter from your healthcare provider stating things like: due date, medical conditons and any medicines you're taking. There's lots to do on a cruise, just check your cruise lines website for information on the night life and whatnot. Who says you have to drink or party to have fun? Enjoy your cruise!

  6. Yes, of course you can go!  Go and have fun!

  7. yes if your doctor approves basically you cannot be a high risk pregnancy and since you cant drink and party party i would say you wont enjoy your self except to relax

  8. morning sickness + seasickness = recipe for disaster!

  9. yea, u might like throw ^ more and stuff. it probably wont b fun if ur sick, but there is more 2 a cruise than partying and drinking.... or mayb not.

  10. I don't know why you can't go on a cruise.  I would ask my doctor just to make sure.  As far as being on the cruise and not being able to party and drink, remember, fun is what you make it.  Go and eat all the wonderful food, enjoy the shows, have fun and buy lots of tourist stuff on the shore excursions.  Partying and drinking are not the only things in life.

  11. Yes you can go so long as your doctor doesn't have a problem with it because you have other health concerns.  Last cruise I went on had so many things to do, I rarely drank.  There are pools, tennis courts, movie theaters, casinos, shopping.. if you are bored on a cruise you just aren't trying hard enough.

  12. Sure you can go and you don't need permission!

  13. On Carnival you can go if you are not going to enter your 27th week while you are on the ship.

  14. There's nothing physical stopping you, especially if it's early in the pregnancy so you shouldn't need a doctor's note.  However, you won't be able to do any of the fun stuff like swimming, drinking, etc.
