If you had the cataract srugery when a new lens is put into your eye, can you go on a roller coaster?

  1. probably not there should be signs that say if you have had something then you cant ride this if you cant find a sign then ask the worker dude he will tell you yes or no!!! hope that helps


  2. this would be something to discuss with your doctor, personally I don't think it's safe due to the forces on a roller coaster, it could very possibly move the lens.

  5. Yes, you can ride on roller coasters if you have had cataracts eye surgery. The roller coaster does not affect your eyes.

    When you have the surgery, the doctor will go over everything that you need to know. And if you have any questions you can ask.

    After the surgery, your eyes heal very fast and you will be fine. The lenses that they implant do not move, once set in place.  The only way that they would move is if you were to be hit very very hard. then they might move, but the chances of them moving because you were on a roller coaster are none.
