  1. They actually do have some skiing on Mt Fuji. One of my students did some skiing there a few months ago and they didn't have to lug up the mountain with ski equipment nor do it by themselves.

    The place is Fuji Tenjinyama.

  2. If you are professional or well-experienced climber and have enough equipments and power to carry all of them by hand to top of it with official report to authority in advance, nobody can stop you to go skiing on Mt. Fuji there.

  3. .......there is also a man-made snowboard park at the foot of Mt. Fuji, but it is very small and boring. I think it is only 200m long. I can't remember the name, but it's not worth looking into. You could try skijapan.com though, if you really want to find it.

Nagano and Hokkaido are much better places to go skiing. Mt. Fuji is not so beautiful, anyway.. it is very polluted. Fuji City is a major industrial city. Sometimes you can't even see Mt. Fuji because of the pollution.

  4. Mt. Fuji is not ski resort. No one is watching you. No one comes to your rescue even if you are lost.

You can do it if it's OK for you.
