  1. I have a good friend who works for Homeland Security. I'll bet that you didn't know that blood is a bio-hazard, and that it is illegal to intentionally contaminate public facilities. If you go and get caught, you better hope that no one wants to push the issue. Because, it would be more than just tampons that you can't stand.

  2. not the best idea

  3. yes you can swim.  just put a thin pad in your suit and then change it when you get out.

  4. I think you should wait.  I am not sure, but I think that is maybe unsanitary and unappealing to other peopl in the pool.

  5. Sometimes I wonder about myself .Yes you can, in the Red River I got to thinking do     they use toilet paper in your trailer park?

  6. if your not going to wear a tampon, stay out of the water.

"you don't bleed when you are in the water" is totally false, you still bleed it just gets diluted in the water, but if you are having a heavy day you would be able to see red around you. Plus it's just gross to be bleeding in the water where people are swimming and accidently get the water in their mouths.

Plus, when you get out of the water it could run down your leg  and get really messy and embarrassing.

  7. Growing up a competitive swimmer, I had to learn to try different tampons to swim with.  Some were not great, but once I found the kind that weren't that bad and were actually somewhat comfortable to me, it all worked out.  Unfortunately for girls, coaches in more competitive places don't take "I'm on my period" as a good non swimming day reason.  If you have very light periods, it's not too bad to swim without a tampon, but I would try different kinds to try to find one you can at least swim with.

  8. Just don't swim at all then. Yes you will bleed in the water, but it dissolves. Try using a tampon though at least.

  9. Do not go swimming without a tampon... if you really want to go swimming start off by using the very very small tampons and change it as soon as you get out of the water... but for the sake of the rest of the swimmers and your own embarrassment use a tampon or dont swim
