yes of course you can

most women find it easier to wear a tampon whilst swimming while others find that the bleeding stops in the pool ( in the water)

Best option is to wear a tampon in case of any embarrassing accidents!

You also have to consider that women who are competing in major races such as the olympics have to swim they cant drop out because of there peroid

Also if you really dont want to use a tampon but really want to go swimming the doctors offer a pill which stops the period
